- Steenblik Park is a small but very nice park located on 8th North. Recently a new statue has been added to the park for the community enjoyment. Stop by for a closer look at “Dairy Cats”. Nancy Boskoff will talk about the statue and how it came to be.
- Crime Report–Each month the Salt Lake City Police Department prepares a report of all Community Council areas. The total offenses for the month of December for our community went up. The biggest jump was in auto theft. We had 8 vehicles stolen from our area ans 16 stolen vehicles recovered in our area. Most of these crime are being done Monday-Friday during regular business hours (9-5). If you are home, be a good neighbor and pay attention to your neighborhood.
