Information Items
- The Rose Park Elementary School Community Learning Center will officially open January 8th.
- Our Rose Park Community Council meetings are among the best attended meetings in the city. We attribute this to you wonderful people and supportive leadership. Ken Neal has served as the leader of this active organization for 12 years and was honored in our December meeting. Please continue to be involved in our changing neighborhood. It is always during times of change that we need the strength and support that we can give as good neighbors. Staying in touch with one another is important to community strength. There will be a list for all community members wishing to receive information as it is passed to the council. You may contact our new council chair Ron Jarret, by phone at 595-6259 or by email at r.jarrett@concast.net
- The Salt Lake Center for Science Education will hold an open house on Thursday, January 3 from 5:30-7:30 pm and January 5th from 9:30am-11:30 am at the Center which is located at 1400 W Goodwin Avenue. This school accepts students in grades 6,7, and 8. Please attend our council meeting on January 2nd to learn more about this new opportunity for students in our neighborhood.
