Join the food co-op of Utah
August 14, 2006 by Baker.
The Community Food Co-op of Utah is operated by Crossroads Urban Center, in Salt Lake City. The Community Food Co-op is a “self-sustaining food purchasing network along the Wasatch Front that brings people together for food, savings, and community.”
”Missed the boat with your local CSA? This Summer, go local with the Community Food Co-op of Utah’s Farmers’ Market Share! The Community Food Co-op has partnered with East Farms to offer a once-a-month, diverse assortment of seasonal, chemical-free vegetables and herbs, at a quantity comparable to what you would expect for a half share CSA and then some. This special will run through October, however, supply will be limited, so place your order today! You can also expect to see more locally grown, conventional produce in our Standard and Harvest Shares as the Co-op builds more relationships with local farmers (To date, the Co-op has already offered locally grown apples, onions, cucumbers and corn!).”

Zions Market
August 14, 2006 by Baker.
July 19th at 9:00 am-11:00am
LDS Stake Center 1155 N 1200
In ancient times, the market place was the central point of any town or city. It was the place people came together to meet, talk, help each other and exchange material goods. Share your abundance by donating good usable items you do not need. On Saturday, come receive from the abundance of others by taking what you would like.
